Design by Nature supports the protection of forests and biospheres along the path of migratory birds

An average 2.1 billion birds make landfall from March to May during spring migration and the same amount upon return over the Gulf of Mexico.

It is crucial to protect these natural habitats to ensure they remain in balance, safe and resilient so that the migratory birds can survive their journeys.

10% of the sales price of all Design by Nature items goes towards various environmental protection projects in Mexico focused on migratory birds and forest conservation.

We support the following organizations:

Bird Fund ~A visionary fund for place of observation and contemplation

As an artist, activist and experience designer, I have created a project fund “Reservas Y Monastaria de Aves”

The donations will be invested into the conservation forests along the migratory path and to create spaces for humans to observe the migratory birds during spring and autumn seasons. The future intention is to build nests “nidos” for humans to come and stay in trees like birds and practice meditation, contemplation in silence. Spaces to go inwards, observe and become more conscious.

“Aves de Oaxaca”
